Making homemade wine is super easy! Now is the grape season and you can choose a variety for any taste. Glass jars (3 liters each), your favorite grapes (10 kg), sugar (2.5-3 kg) and this is the recipe will come in handy here.
How to make wine:
there is no need in washing the grapes to keep yeast on it for fermentation, but it must be carefully sorted out from rotten berries. After that, you remove all the good berries from the bunches;
you put the selected (with your hands or with spoon) in an enameled bucket. You can divide the berries into portions;
cover the bucket with gauze and leave it in a warm place for 4-5 days, stir it twice a day with a wooden spatula;
in 5 days you need to filter everything through cheesecloth and squeeze out the cake;
pour the juice into a jar, add sugar and stir. By changing the amount of sugar, you can adjust the taste of the future drink: from dry to sweet;
wash the rubber glove, pierce it with a needle in different places and attach it to the neck of the jar, tying it with a rope;
at room temperature, the wine ferments for 2-3 weeks. The glove inflates and then deflates completely — a sure sign that fermentation is complete;
then, when the sediment sinks to the bottom, and the liquid becomes lighter and stops bubbling, the contents of the can must be filtered. Drain so that the sediment remains at the bottom. If there is a lot of wine, distribute it in a sterilized glass container and stopper;
then it should be put in a cool place for 1 month. During this time, the drink must be poured over 3 more times, strained and aged for +1 month.
After that, it's time to taste the fruit, or rather the drink of your labor. Now you can proudly call yourself a winemaker.
Hydroponics or how to grow a plant without soil
What if gardening no longer requires soil? Hydroponics is the cultivation of garden crops in a special solution. These can be indoor plants, flowers from the garden under the house, cucumbers — actually, anything. For start you can try to provide yourself with fresh greens.
Beginner's way:
choose the seeds you want to grow (and which are suitable for hydroponics);
in plastic glasses, make slits from the bottom (3-5 cm long), pour fine expanded clay or perlite into them;
you add seeds there and germinate. To do this, maintain a temperature of 22 degrees and regularly moisten the substrate;
when the seeds turn into sprouts with roots, it's time to fix the hydroponic system;
attach an aquarium compressor (it is inexpensive) to a high plastic container — it will mix the nutrient solution;
you can buy a ready-made solution in a gardening store. It is important that it fits the seeds of the selected plants. Pour it into the container;
make round holes in the lid of the container for glasses with sprouts, insert them into the holes and put the lid on the container. The lower part of the roots should be immersed in the nutrient environment.
Now harrow your harvest from the cat, wait for the first greens and enjoy their taste!
Doodling to improve creativity
If you concentrate and at the same time draw all kinds of curls, circles, stars or any other figures on a sheet of paper, you can relieve stress and pump up your own creativity. Sometimes it becomes psychotherapy in miniatures, because abstract drawing helps to visualize anxieties, give them shape and put them out of my head and onto paper.
What and how to do:
take a clear sheet of paper and pen/pencil/marker (anything you prefer)
you draw any symbol on the sheet and start drawing details to it, and other details to them. Or you can draw several shapes and combine them together. Or not to combine, but to fill the entire sheet with small pictures. The third option is to outline a large symbol and begin to divide it into smaller ones, and those into even smaller ones;
there is no strict rules about how to draw doodles — it is a flight of imagination and arbitrary movements of your hand.
If creative doodles are. not for you, use ready schemes to understand the point and start enjoying this process. Luckily, there are lots of coloring pages for doodling (or so-called anti-stress coloring pages).
How to grow a real crystal at home
If you are not a gardener, try growing crystals!It's not quick, but very fascinating process. For beginners in chemistry, the method with common table salt, aka sodium chloride, is suitable.
Follow the instruction:
pour water into a small container (if possible, use distilled water), then into a larger container. This second water needs to be preheated to 50-60 degrees. Some models of electric kettles help to set a certain temperature.
If you don't have such a kettle at hand, just mix 1 part of boiling water and 2 parts of water at room temperature;
place a small container next to a large one;
add salt to the small one and stir, leave the solution for 5 minutes so that it heats up from the larger container and the salt dissolves completely. Then add more salt and repeat the same;
add salt and stir until it stops dissolving. You will get a saturated saline solution. It must be poured into a container of equal volume in such a way that undissolved salt does not get there;
in a bag with dry salt, pick up the largest crystal, take it out and carefully immerse it in a cool salt solution — at the bottom of the jar.
Then watch and wait. The dynamics will be noticeable in a few days — your crystal will begin to increase in size.
