IIIIT — beautiful name, beautiful person and beautiful art as well. Today we would like to tell you about illustrator, with whom we did the most juicy and soft collaboration ever.
We always come up with something new for you. Such that "Wow, pack me two!". But this time we crossed all the edges of the permitted steepness. Even for yourself. Therefore, catch our first knitted blanket, also in collaboration with IIIIT SARKISIAN.
We will tell you more about the plaid later, purely for the sake of keeping the intrigue at least a little bit. But read about IIIIT and our joint work right now. Seriously, pick it up and read it right now.
— Lilith, tell us a little about yourself! How did you get into creativity and what inspires you?
I'm dealing with commercial illustration for over 7 years. It so happened that I was one of the first in Ukraine to start working with fashion illustration, to draw for a large number of famous Ukrainian designers and brands, and to do it systematically and seriously. In other words, turn a hobby and additional income into a real job with great opportunities and prospects.
Now, after so many years, I am not really interested in illustration in its pure form. That's why I created the IIIIT art store, which has such a wide variety of products with my prints that it is impossible to believe. I actively experiment and work in collaborations with various brands, creating new forms and planes for the realization of my illustrations. It's incredibly exciting.
— How long ago did you fall in love with pomegranates in design?
I did not "love" the grenades in the design. Fans of my work fell in love with them for me. And I ran away from this topic for a very long time, but in the end I still could not ignore the wishes of such a large number of people. And I already like it.
— Most of your works are with floral patterns, why pomegranates for blankets?
The choice of print for creating plaids was logically justified. Since you warned that there is a minimum circulation of creating one variant of the plaid (and for us this circulation is significant, since plaids are a new experience, we have never made them before), so we decided to take a soft risk and choose the most top theme.
In addition, we launched blankets before the new year and floristic theme was not so relevant.
— How long did it take to create design?
I draw everything by hand: first with a liner, then scan, process and transfer to vector. We had a design with grenades for a long time, and it was not necessary to draw it from scratch for collaboration. All I needed to do was create a layout with linear grenades and make it vector.
— What does the inscription on the blanket mean and why exactly?
IIIIT art store has a positioning — to do something nice for no reason, to give gifts just like that, and to make simple things beautiful. Therefore, we present basic products that every girl (and every boy) needs.
The wording means "for yourself". Make yourself happy every day, just like that, with little things.
— Did the blanket. live up to all expectations?
The blanket clearly met visual and tactile expectations. He is more beautiful than I imagined him and what he looks like in the photo. Incredibly cool to the touch: does not sting, does not irritate the skin, is not heavy.
As far as I know, this is the first time Woolkrafts have made a blanket with this material. Of course, we know that the quality is cosmic, but we need to make sure of it ourselves a few more times.
"At the VSI.SVOI market, we hung the plaid on a high iron rack. Everyone asked about him with curiosity and surprise. They admired that the plaid was a work of art"
Diana, IIIIT Sales Manager
— How many people you love would you cover with a blanket?
Everyone!
— Which of the blankets is more suitable for the interior of your apartment?
Both to them: one room with a pink wall, the other is completely gray. First of all, I always do everything like for myself.
— Do you all expect the continuation of our collaboration?
Yes, sure!
